Name of Yang Xiong in Chinese
[edit]"His name written in Chinese is 揚雄, but it is frequently mistaken as 楊雄 in historical documents."

- No, they aren't. The second Yang (楊) is a very common Chinese family name; the first Yang (揚), as ytou can see, is written with a different radical and is used e.g. in the name of the city Yangzhou, but is not [as] commonly used as a family name. Vmenkov (talk) 08:45, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
